HISTORY
A repurposed bank vault provides the ideal combination of history and technology. A multi-million-dollar refresh rendered a modern vibe to SpringHill Suites Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor, but it retains a compelling backstory as a conversion of Maryland Trust Bank - one of only ten buildings to survive the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904.

Historic Ambiance
Today the hotel's boardroom - uniquely situated inside Maryland Trust's old bank vault - provides an ideal setting for small meetings and intimate gatherings. Its historic ambiance is complemented with 21st century connectivity including free high-speed Internet, AV technology and copy/printing services.

Our Hotel
Among the worst conflagrations in American history (only the Chicago Fire and San Francisco Earthquake/Fire caused more damage), the Great Baltimore Fire leveled some 1,500 structures but left Maryland Trust Bank intact.
The bank - one of the oldest buildings in Baltimore's central business district - has now been repurposed into an all-suites hotel unlike any other in the Charm City, with an open lobby, picturesque high ceilings and detailed decorative design elements.
