The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel, unless required by local law.

A full spectrum of social distancing guidelines have been implemented throughout each property, including:

  • Altered traffic flow to support 6-foot spacing
  • Removed brochure racks
  • Removed unnecessary furnishings
  • Installation of signage across the property campus to remind Owners, guests, and associates of social distancing requirements.
  • Reduction of seating in common areas, such as lobbies
  • Closure of every other stall in common area restrooms
  • Limitations on occupancy in fitness centers and removal of certain equipment, where applicable.
  • Reductions in pool deck seating, where applicable
  • Continued closure of activities centers and kid's clubs. where applicable

In keeping with Our Next Level of Clean and Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and accommodations. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning. With increased frequency and enhanced cleaning tools, you'll get a heightened level of clean and health safety throughout shared areas. You will find hand sanitizer stations at high-traffic public spaces like the lobby, front desk, elevator landings, food & beverage entrances and fitness center entrances.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.

Electrostatic Spraying. We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Your Clean Home Away from Home

All of your private vacation spaces now undergo an even more robust regimen of cleaning protocols.

  • Hospital-grade disinfectants are used in every villa/room, before every check-in.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the villa/room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Each villa/room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with particular attention paid to high-touch surfaces, such as light switches, door handles, remote controls, countertops, climate controls, and appliance doors using hospital-grade disinfectants
  • Removal and replacement of all unused linen/terry from villas/rooms
  • Removal and replacement of all unused bathroom amenities, such as soap and shampoo
  • Removal and replacement of all opened paper products, such as toilet and facial tissues
  • In support of continued enhanced public area cleaning, enhanced villa/room departure cleans, and for the health and safety of property associates, daily housekeeping service, such as daily tidies, is currently unavailable.

    • Golf Shop Hours of operation will be changing to 6:00AM-1:30PM
    • You must have a tee time in order to use the Golf Driving Range.  Last tee time of the day will be 1:00PM
    • Bunker Hours of operation will be 6:00AM-1:00PM Daily with beverage cart running 9:00-3:30PM daily (based on demand) 
  • Tennis Courts
  • Tennis courts are open by reservation only, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Court times can be reserved up to 48 hours in advance, for 1 hour per villa. To secure a reservation or for any additional information please dial ext. 2663.
  • Open play is available daily from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (first come, first served).
  • Tennis equipment is available for complimentary rental at the Mirage Activity Center.

General Property Updates
Marriott's Shadow Ridge endeavors to support our community through a unique and thoughtful donation campaign, called "Donating Socks Rocks."  Our goal is to partner with owners, guests, and associates to gather 10,000 pair of new socks throughout the year, to donate to various local shelters, community centers and the like. Please assist us in donating any new or packaged socks by dropping your donations off at the Front Desk during your stay. Both Marriott's Shadow Ridge and the community thank you!

Construction Notices

  • Multiple projects are underway at Marriott's Shadow Ridge through March 2023. The projects include preventative villa and public space maintenance. Various buildings are closed. Ongoing projects and property enhancements will continue in the first quarter with minimal to no guest impact.

Amenity Status

  • Resort Shuttle will have limited service
  • Oversized vehicles, RVs, and Trailers are not allowed on the resort grounds.  

Service Animal Policy
Service animals that perform work or tasks are welcome at the resort, but family pets are not permitted. Bringing a pet to the resort will result in a Room Recovery Fee. In the event we discover that you have brought a pet to the resort, you will be charged a Room Recovery Fee in the amount of $500 per pet, and you will be asked to take your pet to a local, third-party boarding facility.

Please be aware that in some locations, misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a misdemeanor and may result in a monetary penalty and/or imprisonment.
