Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility.  Please join us in our efforts to continue to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates). A full spectrum of social distancing guidelines have been implemented throughout each property, including:

  • Altered traffic flow to support 6-foot spacing
  • Installation of signage across the property campus to remind Owners, guests, and associates of social distancing requirements.
  • Limitations on occupancy in fitness centers and removal of certain equipment, where applicable.

In keeping with Our Next Level of Clean and Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and accommodations. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning. With increased frequency and enhanced cleaning tools, you'll get a heightened level of clean and health safety throughout shared areas. You will find hand sanitizer stations at high-traffic public spaces like the lobby, front desk, elevator landings, food & beverage entrances and fitness center entrances.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.

Electrostatic Spraying. We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
Your Clean Home Away from Home

All of your private vacation spaces now undergo an even more robust regimen of cleaning protocols.

  • Hospital-grade disinfectants are used in every villa/room, before every check-in.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the villa/room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Each villa/room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with particular attention paid to high-touch surfaces, such as light switches, door handles, remote controls, countertops, climate controls, and appliance doors using hospital-grade disinfectants

Important Alerts

Due to intense traffic caused by the construction works happening on one of Cancun's main avenues (Blvd. Colosio) which takes you to Cancun's Airport; all airlines and Cancun's International airport are now recommending to be at the airport within 3 hours in advance for domestic flights and 4 hours in advance for international flights.

The impact of this construction work started in August 2022 and unfortunately is scheduled to remain in place for the next 15 months.

Please take all needed precautions to avoid delays and the risk of losing your flight.

Official Information

The government of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo guideline indicates that face coverings are suggested when social distancing is not possible (outdoor and indoor spaces).

General Property Updates

  • Certain Bonvoy benefits do not apply at this resort.

The government of the Mexican State of Quintana Roo enacted a new tourist tax which, as of April 1, 2021, is currently MX$224.00 (approximately US$11.00) for all international visitors to Quintana Roo. The tax will apply to all international visitors over 15 years old. Please visit https://www.visitax.gob.mx/sitio to pay this required tax prior to your arrival.

The State of Quintana Roo assesses a hospitality tax due upon check-out:

  • Studio: US$2.37 per night
  • One-Bedroom: US$4.01 per night
  • Two-Bedroom: US$6.39 per night
  • A daily environmental fee of up to $145.24 MXN will be added to the room rate and will be billed in pesos directly to your folio.

Service Animal Policy

Service animals that perform work or tasks are welcome at the resort, but family pets are not permitted. Bringing a pet to the resort will result in a Room Recovery Fee. In the event we discover that you have brought a pet to the resort, you will be charged a Room Recovery Fee in the amount of $500 per pet, and you will be asked to take your pet to a local, third-party boarding facility.

Please be aware that in some locations, misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a misdemeanor and may result in a monetary penalty and/or imprisonment.
