1953 was the year when Harry’s Bar Firenze opened in Via del Parione in Florence. Giuseppe Cipriani, Owner of the restaurant in Venice, shares his historic recipes such as the iconic grilled cheese pasta, the unmissable veal carpaccio, delicious shrimp curry and the flambéed crepes with Gran Marnier. To complete the offering he also added the legendary cocktails, a must have in every respectable American Bar, such as: Bellini, Martini and Negroni. In 1963 the restaurant found its location on Lungarno Vespucci and became a must-stop of the Florentine Dolce Vita: the stools are the original ones where legends such as Margot Hemingway and Liz Taylor, just to name a few, sat and drank their favorite cocktail. In 2016 Harry’s Bar Firenze was listed as one of Italy’s most historic bars and in 2021 Harry’s Bar Firenze 1953 was born, in the lush private poolside garden of the Sina Villa Medici, Autograph Collection hotel.
