    Waikiki Beach is located on the South Shore of Oahu. Once a playground for Hawaiian royalty, the name Waikiki is known in Hawaiian as "spouting waters.” Along the main strip of Kalakaua Avenue is world class shopping, dining, entertainment, activities and resorts. Waikiki Beach, which is approximately 2 miles long, runs parallel to Kalakaua Avenue.

    The sun sets off the South Shore of Oahu, and Sheraton Waikiki offers unobstructed views of the spectacular sunset. We recommend taking in the view from Rumfire, or the resort’s adults only infinity edge pool.
