Signature Avocado Toasts on House-Made Charcoal Bread
Join us in our Breakfast Garden Room to try our signature Avocado Toasts for breakfast. Local legend celebrates The Steward’s location as the originator of avocado toast. Recently discovered journals from the Sexton Family, confirms the family children would crush the prized buttery, green fruit on a chunk of bread and enjoy, basking in the spring and early summer weather. We honor the Sexton’s, our land’s heritage, and the stewardship of Goleta’s history with our inspired versions.
Grounds for Picnicking
Pick-up a seasonal sandwich or salad made from Terra as well as locally curated beverages from The Steward's marketplace and enjoy picnicking throughout our lush garden lawns or forest hideaway. The marketplace is located in the lobby of The Steward Santa Barbara hotel, next to the front desk. For hotel guests staying overnight, we recommend booking our Santa Barbara Summer Package which includes a picnic basket with choice of two seasonal sandwiches or salads, kettle-cooked chips, wellness juice, and use of beach towels.
