The Tampa EDITION has a strong commitment to operate sustainably in the community where we do business. The hotel has a water softening system designed to reduce water consumption by up to 10% and decrease soap and detergent use by as much as 25%. The system also includes a recycling system that reuses up to 60% of the salt used for softening – saving on salt and wastewater. To enhance energy efficiency, the hotel utilizes a building automation system that schedules AC for all public spaces, back of house, and meeting rooms to save on electricity and chilled water usage. All lighting throughout the property is LED and managed by a centralized control system that adjusts brightness based on natural sunlight, saving additional energy. We prioritize waste reduction by recycling batteries, cardboard, and waste grease. Additionally, we source recycled products for guest room amenity packaging, and we offer refillable shower gels, conditioners, and shampoos, reducing plastic waste.
