Opened in 1998, Cattails at MeadowView in Kingsport is recognized as one of the top public golf courses in Tennessee. Designed by Denis Griffiths, the course features Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens, with picturesque holes at the base of scenic Bays Mountain.

Cat Trap
The “Cat Trap” at Cattails at MeadowView is a challenging trio of holes—11, 12, and 13—designed to test golfers’ skills. This set includes a par 5, a par 3, and a par 4, each with unique obstacles and strategic elements1. Golfers who manage to shoot par or better on these holes can present their digital scorecard at the golf shop to claim a prize.
