The resort’s meeting facilities cater to a wide spectrum of requirements and needs, ranging from a small-scale company presentation to a full-scale international conference. Natural daylight can illuminate most of our 26 function venues, which total 2,700 square meters of exhibition space and feature direct air conditioning. Additional facilities include an upscale ballroom foyer, an exclusive bonded warehouse, and secretarial offices. State-of-the-art technology includes a built-in and portable simultaneous interpreter system.

The Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) features an additional 2,400 square meters of meeting space, including an elegant ballroom, an auditorium with a built-in stage, and 26 versatile function rooms. BICC also comprises an exhibition area, two executive lounges, a café, and an upstairs bar. A large parking area can accommodate hundreds of vehicles and buses.

Room Set-Up Examples

Setup Example

Theater

Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.

Banquet

Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.

E-shape, U-shape and T-shape

Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.

Conference and Hollow Square

Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.

The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
