The Otis Ballroom

The Otis Ballroom is 3,495 sq. ft., perfect for large gatherings such as weddings, galas, fundraisers, social events, and celebrations up to 150 guests. The stylishly appointed ballroom can be divided into two sections for smaller breakout sessions. The Otis Ballroom features contemporary, geometric light fixtures hanging from the roof, casting soft light on the warm wooden features of the room. You are able to rent audiovisual equipment from the hotel to enhance your event.

Meeting Rooms and Boardroom

The boardroom is 446 sq. ft., while the meeting spaces range from 490 sq. ft. to 1,939 sq. ft. These spaces are perfect for business meetings, election parties, or other gatherings. Our board room is an executive-class space with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology, private temperature control, a refreshment center, and other VIP perks. Our meeting rooms offer all the amenities your guests will need for a smooth and successful event. All meeting spaces can be reconfigured into different styles, such as a classroom style or communal style, to suit your needs.

Acre 41 Private Dining Room

Acre 41's Trendy Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 38 guests for full-service dinner or up to 50 guests for cocktail-style celebrations. This venue is best for gatherings such as post-wedding brunch, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, engagement parties, and more. The contemporary steakhouse, Acre 41, offers a variety of dressed-up classics like Iron Skillet Cornbread, U.S.D.A Prime Steak, Belly On Pork Chops, Chile Glazed Chicken, and Elote Street Corn. This can be serviced a la carte or family style, based on your preferences.

Otopia, the Campus District's only rooftop pool and lounge, will give you stellar views of the Austin skyline and nearby UT campus, as it's on the 11th floor.     Conference and Hollow Square
    Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
    E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
    Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
    Theater
    Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
    Reception
    Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
    Schoolroom or Classroom
    The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
