Amazing staff
This was a great hotel for something in the city. Beds were comfortable, and location was great. The staff was just exceptional, they were eager to help and went out of their way to help us (from pillows, to where to eat, and how to get places). There aren't many hotels I've stayed at, where each person we interacted with was kind, smiling, and helpful. Great value for your money. Thank you!!

USC Football Weekend
If you are looking for a great hotel with excellent management, staff and location stay at the Courtyard Marriott at USC in Columbia. I have stayed there many times and the service and amenities are second to none.

Above and Beyond
We stay here each year for a big swim meet, and swimmers have some weird needs. The hotel staff always goes above and beyond to meet our requests and help us manage our large number of swimmers. They really help out, and the hotel is in a great location, with a great staff.

Too noisy
Very nice hotel, but the guest rooms are extremely noisy due to street traffic and a nearby train. The noise NEVER stops.

Staff here is the best
Kenyatta and the hotel staff was amazing!!
This hotel had some extra street noise due to some activities going on that did not allow me to sleep well the first night. This is not the fault of the hotel but they graciously moved me to a room in the back. It was so nice of them considering the noise was not their fault. The front staff was over and beyond nice.
I had a small issue in my room that could have waited until I checked-out but once I notified the staff they sent Kenyatta to come up and resolve it right away. The issue in no way impacted my stay. Kenyatta was so kind and concerned for our stay. She did not act like it was a bother to help us and she truly went above and beyond. She was truly one of the nicest hotel staff members in all of my stays. I think she needs a raise and a promotion and to be the face of the type of people you hire. Thank you Kenyatta for making my day.
