Comfortable, Clean, Quiet, & Great Location
One thing I enjoy after traveling is a "QUIET" place to relax, rest, and sleep and this place met my expectations. Located near enough restaurants to give me options and excess to go anywhere in any direction towards the Dallas/Ft Worth Metropolitan area if I needed or wanted to go.

Smoke smell
Someone was smoking and it was coming in through our bathroom vent. We had to move in the middle of the night.
We had the clean the room tag on our door the next day and no one cleaned it.
All our clothes smelled like smoke the rest of our trip. We won’t stay here again.

We're Coming Back
Such a great experience. The extra little touches were nice. The gift bag at the front desk and the basket of goodies in the room were so simple, but made us feel welcomed and wanted. I know the dinner/wine mixer is across Marriott, but it's still a nice touch. Staff was excellent & personal!

This is second time experiencing issues with my stay at aMarriott property. This particular stay was by far the WORST. I was basically call a LIAR, and had to take a cold shower. The customer is always right no matter if he is wrong. I am a very LOYAL customer to Marriott, and I am an elite member. It may not be much to some but it means a lot to me. I wanted elite status because I was with a colleague in Phoenix, Az. He was at the resort called Desert Ridge, the treatment there was outstanding. The colleague told me that this is what you pay for, so I started pursing that status. Overall it had been great being an elite member until this recent stay at the Residence Inn in Dallas/The Colony. I want to continue being a LOYAL customer. That experience was TERRIBLE, and it did not meet my expectation. I know that this is a once in a while occurrence but to have poor service twice in a row. I am beginning to wonder if I made the right decision with Marriott as a whole. I have at least two more stays coming up before the year is out, and they are both in New Orleans at the Westin I will see if my LOYALTY will be questioned.
