Exploring Mallorca

Cycling and Bike Tours around the island

Cycling is extremely popular in Mallorca and renowned for its extensive labyrinth of mountain tracks, countryside roads, and winding mountain passes where cyclists test their limits and explore the island. The year round mild temperatures and roads catering to all fitness levels make it a fantastic day out experience.

Wine Tours

The central area of Mallorca is well known for its wine. Local bodegas produce some exceptional wines that are becoming increasingly popular in the international routes. Our team can organize for you a visit to some of the main wineries, while the most popular tour includes a ride on a small train visiting the oldest vineyards and wineries in Mallorca. José L. Ferrer Winery in Binissalem being the starting point, continuing to two prestigious wineries with more than 300 years of history. Relish tasting eight to nine wines accompanied with delightful local tapas.

Water Sports

Be close to the magnificent nature of Mallorca, as you set out on exclusive, guided watersports adventures. Choose among a great variety of sports among scuba diving, fishing, kayak, paddle, jetski and flyboard. Explore the coves and nearby shores, or stop over in a local beach bar for a drink or snack, and enjoy an active day on the water while admiring the beauty of the coastline.

Local Cuisine and Markets

Discover the authentic local culture and produce by visiting one of the numerous markets that take place every day at different locations all over the island: Sineu, Santanyi, Arta, Sóller, etc. Can Pedro located in Genova and Can Torrat in Calvià offer rustic Mallorquin cuisine and are set in old “Mesones”, which are old countryside houses and specialize in local gastronomy. Make sure to try the “pa amb oli”, “arros brut” and the traditional roast suckling pig.

Your St. Regis Butler or concierge will be more than happy to make court reservations at our nearby tennis club and arrange for a shuttle service to your tennis game—certainly not to be missed is the Rafael Nadal’s museum and tennis academy. Located 50 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

Sea Caving

The Caves of Campanet are the least known on the island but well worth a visit. They made up of various cavities with suggestive names as “romantic room” or “enchanted city”. The Drach Caves, the most famous ones, were formed by water being forced through the entrance from the Mediterranean Sea, and some researchers think the formation may date back to the Miocene era.
