    Social Events

    The most spectacular events and weddings will take place at The Astor Grand Ballroom, located on the 1st floor. Guests enter through The Crystal Hall, which is located at the Porte Cochere, outside the lobby and this allows an exclusive entrance, for our guests' privacy. An incredible sensory experience is created for the guests as they will be surrounded by the iconic features of the hall, including the extravagant Swarovski chandelier with 252,000 individual crystals hanging from the center of the hall and the startling crystal staircase.

      Corporate Events

      Each meeting room is named after an ancient gemstone that has an interesting and inspiring story. A sensory experience is crafted by giving the guests the opportunity to experience their corporate meetings with the flawless view of the River Nile. The boardrooms include state-of-the-art features, to be set up on the fine arabesque-designed ceiling. The meeting rooms are arranged according to the guest's request whereas the coffee breaks are exquisitely and precisely themed to match the gem stone's color so that the guests can enjoy their colorful, enticing bites along with their fresh coffee.

        Exclusive and Private Entrance for the Guest

        Guests arrive to the St. Regis Cairo off the Nile Corniche into a low and wide Porte Cochere, onto a stone mosaic carpet, laid beneath an illuminated gold vaulted ceiling. Egyptian hand-crafted lanterns and sconces cast a patterned and glimmering light onto the surrounding space. A sculptural waterfall replaces the sounds from the busy outdoors and initiates a calm, awe-inspiring welcome home. They are greeted with crisp, white gloves and warm voices, proclaiming, a warm welcome to The St. Regis Cairo.

        Conference and Hollow Square
        Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
        E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
        Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
        Theater
        Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.

        Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
