The Resort
Italian Essence, Newport Beach Style
The relaxed comfort of Pelican Hill® takes inspiration from the grand villas across the Venetian countryside. Like the Mediterranean, the sun-drenched climate of Southern California allows for indoor spaces to open up to the outdoors with quintessential coastal breezes and panoramic Pacific Ocean views. Inspired by the works of Andrea Palladio, an Italian architect from the 16th century, the beauty and harmony you feel is the result of thousands of small details – from the Italian plaster finish that enhances with age to the hand-made terra cotta finials sculpted by a master ceramicist. From placing 1.1 million hand-cut glass mosaic tiles that line the bottom of the Coliseum Pool to planting 100-year-old olive trees to add authenticity to the Mediterranean landscape, each piece of the Resort is thoughtfully crafted to create a timeless, classic look inspired by the Italian Renaissance.
