Cathedrale

The French-Mediterranean restaurant hearkens back to New York’s grand classic dining rooms, with triple-height 26-foot ceilings. Chef Jason Hall’s menu of well-prepared, ingredient-driven dishes easily adapts to your group’s needs and desires.

Alphabet Bar & Café

Alphabet Bar & Café has multiple seating options for co-working and socializing. Plentiful power outlets allow for plugging and playing. The terrace can be used for formal meetings or casual get-togethers between colleagues and friends.

Meeting Studios 

On the ground floor, adjacent to the café, seamlessly transform from workplace to social space as day turns to evening, with furniture that easily shifts from working to lounging, tables that raise and lower, and glass walls that slide away and disappear behind curtains. The two studios can be combined to accommodate larger groups.

The Ready

Moxy East Village’s The Ready evokes a coveted New York City backyard, with murals, planters, casual seating, and a bar made of stacked plastic milk crates. A retractable glass roof and walls allow for year-round use.

Cathédrale Terrace

An outdoor dining terrace with a retractable roof is another hidden surprise. With seating for 58, foliage spilling out of rebar planters, and what looks like rusted card-filing cabinets, it feels like the improvised backyard gardens tucked behind many East Village restaurants.

Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
