The Ocean Club

Meticulously maintained and intelligently designed by Charles Ankrom, the Ocean Club Golf Course is our celebrated 18-hole executive course. Its lush, palm-lined fairways provide golfers with a fast and fun way to spend a morning or an afternoon. The course layout ranges from the Intracoastal waterway to the Atlantic Ocean, taking into account natural features and coastline to create a truly memorable play. Ranked by Golf Digest as one of the best executive golf courses in the country, it provides challenges for both new and veteran golfers.

Course Features & Redesign

The bright green Bermuda grass meanders through a chain of lakes and along the lush riverfront offering players a true Florida golfing experience. Originally designed by Chuck Ankrom in 1978, The Ocean Club completed a greens complex redesign in 2014 by Signature Design Services. The project included new greenside bunkers and reconstructed putting green surfaces.

With over half the holes being par 3's The Ocean Club course provides plenty of opportunities for new players to ‘hit some greens' and feel good about their game. It also provides the seasoned golfer a chance to work on the all-important short iron shots that are the key to lower scores.

Wildlife

While on the course, you might catch a glimpse of our resident wildlife, from majestic white herons to furtive turtles. A rarity in the US, exotic Egyptian geese can be seen strutting along the water's edge and tend to nest in the dense brush. Rosie spoonbills are another delight on the course. At sunset these pink-hued birds make their way from the course to the mangroves offering a spectacular show of color against the orange and magenta glow of the setting sun.

Clubhouse

We offer club rentals for ladies, men and children, as well as private lessons with our pros. Memberships to our golf course are also available for purchase.

Practice your swing with the whole family! The Aqua Practice Range features a grass hitting surface with floating range balls, and is the perfect activity for all skill levels.
