The Clancy: It's Exactly Like Nothing Else
The Clancy is a product of vision, handpicked for its mark of craft, heartfelt design and authentic sense of place. Walk the streets of San Francisco as you meander through our hotel. Muni Track Lines on the ceiling guide you to different areas of the hotel while a crosswalk leads you to our Radiator Coffee Salon, featuring Equator Coffees, an award winning coffee roaster based in neighboring Marin County. Neon signs and spray can art showcases the diverse art of the city. Of the first ten blocks built in San Francisco, The Clancy is built on Block 9. We pay homage to our roots with a stunning outdoor event space perfect for an evening reception or a private event.
Streets of San Francisco
The entire hotel was designed to take our guests on a journey through the streets of San Francisco. Not the touristy popular areas but the hidden gems, and off the beaten path neighborhoods, full of charm, eclectic art and local artisans. The front desk was inspired by an antique piece, materials throughout the hotel are what you see in San Francisco's streets, Muni track lines and city crosswalks guide you to various venues in our lobby, spray can art is a nod to San Francisco murals and the stairway design reflects San Francisco's iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

The Alley Graffiti Wall
Created by Ian Ross, who originates from Marin Country and is a San Francisco artist. Ian used recycled paint cans that were donated from artists around the city to create the piece. The piece highlights our lobby theme of disruption and our passion towards the San Francisco Green Initiative.

Motherboard Wall
The Motherboard Wall is a sculpture wall located at Seven Square Taproom intended to mimic a computer motherboard in a playful way. This art piece showcases our connection with our neighborhood “tech giants” and our associates who are called “Connectors”. The Motherboard is a great reminder that we are all connected.

Block 9
Of the first ten blocks built in San Francisco, The Clancy is built on Block 9. We pay homage to our roots with a stunning outdoor event space perfect for an evening reception or a private event. The mural in the Block 9 space was created by Ian Ross where he pulled inspiration from the natural world connecting colors from nature with the city skyline.

Parklet Mural
San Francisco is known for its colorful indoor parks which led to artist Allison Hueman creating the mural for our Parklet, a unique space that is both indoors and outdoors. Allison is known for her spontaneous paint splashes and mashups of colorful hues. The Parklet is great for private events, yoga sessions or networking events for up to 50 people.
Locally Crafted and Connected
At the center of the SoMa neighborhood in San Francisco, we connect the city's most distinct and coveted neighborhoods and the people who call them home. We take pride in adding quintessential elements of SoMa’s surprising artfulness and eclectic discovery in everything we do. We've curated unique experiences with local partners throughout the hotel. From our art collection to the coffee and baked goods found in Radiator Coffee Salon and the locally sourced ingredients served in Seven Square Taproom. Small businesses are what bring the charm to San Francisco and we are proud to feature them at The Clancy, Autograph Collection.
