Serve 360, our commitment with sustainability.
Our hotels have a corporate sustainability strategy called Serve 360, which is based on the 17 sustainable development goals in four pillars: NURTURE, SUSTAIN, EMPOWER and WELCOME.
Through strategic alliances with NGOs such as Albergue Roblealto, the Costa Rica Food Bank, UNICEF, and community social assistance programs, we actively engage our clients and employees in volunteer programs.
Our goal is to provide assistance to people at risk, thus fostering solidarity and meaningful social contributions.
We've upgraded hotel operations with efficient energy systems and sustainable purchasing. Across destinations, we lead initiatives to reduce food loss, host sustainable events, and promote certified products. We also engage in reforestation, river cleanups, and waste management to support environmental stewardship.
Through our strategic alliances, we have actively addressed issues of diversity and inclusion with the goal of cultivating a more competitive work environment.

Through our partnerships with organizations such as Children's Villages, schools, colleges, and universities, we contribute to the comprehensive growth of local communities.
Through academic and technical training programs for our members and the community.
UNICEF: Thanks to guest contributions, we supported UNICEF's mission with $4,031 to provide access to education, healthcare, and protection for vulnerable children.
Food Bank: We collaborated to promote nutrition for vulnerable groups. This initiative represented $13,414 in monetary investment, and 225 volunteer hours.
In 2024, diesel boilers were replaced with efficient LP gas models to cut costs and emissions. A hotel path was built using 1,050 eco-bricks made from beach-recovered plastic. The hotel also began sourcing certified cage-free eggs, pork, paper, and seafood, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable purchasing and environmental responsibility.
We signed the San José Declaration, reinforcing our commitment to equality and non-discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in the workplace.
In partnership with HIAS, we support refugee inclusion in Costa Rica through job workshops that help individuals rebuild their lives and access new employment opportunities.
In 2024, we sponsored the first eco-friendly fashion show, blending style with sustainability. We empowered 72 people through Marriott University and completed 150 volunteer hours. Partnering with Herradura School, we supported education and community development in Garabito through training, workshops, and volunteer activities benefiting students and families.
