W Sydney’s rooms, suites and studios echo the curves and lines of the hotel’s exceptional architecture, with no two rooms alike, embracing the asymmetry with a sleek, modern décor and expansive views over Darling Harbour or the city through floor-to-ceiling windows. The interior palette of our luxury hotel rooms is inspired by the surrounding marine environment, from nautical whites and navy blues of bespoke furnishings to subtle recessed lighting recalling the sails of yachts in the Darling Harbour marina below. Gradated carpets suggest an ocean wave, continuing into the deep blue of the monolithic bathrooms. In contrast, a burst of inflorescent red and pink waratah flowers punctuates the walk-in wardrobe. Guiding the way to each guest room is a distinctive light constellation along the moodily lit corridor ceiling, designed by artist Stanislava Pinchuk, a renegade creative who takes inspiration for her curated piece from Sydney’s night skies.
