About 400 years ago, during the Edo period, residences of the Kishu Tokugawa family, Owari Tokugawa family, and Hikone Ii family, which were the cadet branches of the shogun family, were situated in "Kioicho," Chiyoda City, where the hotel is now located. Thus the name "Kioicho" originated from the initials of these families. Even now, much history and nature remain. This nature, which is unusual in the city center, combined with the undulating landform, which is a distinctive characteristic of the outer moat, makes you feel the remnants of the past.
