Celebrating the Moana Surfrider's 125th Anniversary

On March 11, 2026, the Moana Surfrider celebrated its 125th birthday with a daylong commemoration honoring its legacy as the First Lady of Waikiki. The milestone included a formal ceremony with global dignitaries, a performance by the Royal Hawaiian Band, a special Anniversary High Tea and fashion show, the opening of the 2001 time capsule, and a dinner and concert featuring the legendary Robert Cazimero. Guests shared memories and well wishes, receiving a special forever lei hand made by members of the hotel staff as a lasting keepsake.
