      Offering an incomparable experience of bespoke luxury, this 1,200 square meters (13,000 square feet) private compound is closed in on three sides by coral walls and opens up to its own private beach facing Bora Bora’s sparkling lagoon. Inside, an entrance lobby, 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a dining room and lounge with adjoining pantry, an office and a solarium surround a central open sky courtyard with a pool tiled in light-reflecting white glass mosaic. 

      Sculpted columns of lustrous exotic wood line the internal walkways bordered by lush tropical vegetation. Textures blend indoors as Venetian stucco wall treatments, Italian marble, noble woods, woven fibers and rich fabrics subtly mix with fine Polynesian art accents.

      The separate master bedroom pavilion features a whirlpool, sauna and steam room as well as a private gazebo. Finally, the glass wall solarium opens out onto a large airy terrace elevated above the beach and lagoon and appointed with deckchairs, beach umbrellas, tables and chairs for dining and an outdoor shower.

      All reservations in the Royal Estate include dedicated St. Regis Butler Service. A private Chef is also available on request.

      St. Regis Butler Service has been a treasured hallmark of the St. Regis experience for more than one hundred years and included when you stay in the Royal Estate Villa.       Traveling to Bora Bora, French Polynesia starts with a flight to Tahiti and a layover near the airport. Next, a flight from PPT to BOB Bora Bora Airport, Motu Mute Airport. There are some direct flights to PPT Faa'a International Airport. Consider staying near Papeete, the heart of Tahiti and explore the famous Municipal Market. Bring cash or convert your currency to CFP franc (XFP) as many of the taxis and vendors on Tahiti do not take credit cards.

      The final leg of your trip is a short flight from PPT to BOB. When you arrive, we will greet you and take you to the St. Regis Bora Bora Resort by boat.

      Flights to Tahiti leave from all over the globe, including direct flights from United States, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, and Japan. 

      The Islands of Tahiti are easily accessible by air from the United States, and a flight from Los Angeles to Tahiti is just over 8 hours in duration. Many airlines fly direct to Tahiti from the US mainland, including: 

      United Airlines from San Francisco
      Air Tahiti Nui from Los Angeles and Seattle
      Air France from Los Angeles

      Beginning December 17th, 2022, Delta Airlines will launch nonstop flights from Los Angeles 

      The Tahiti-Faa’a International Airport is the only international airport in French Polynesia. From here, you can hop on connecting flights via Air Tahiti to explore the diverse regions that make up this pristine island nation.

      Once you arrive at Tahiti-Faa’a International Airport, the domestic terminal for Air Tahiti is located right inside. Air Tahiti provides inter-island flights throughout French Polynesia to the other islands and atolls. For schedules and information, check with the airlines.

      Bora Bora has a very small airport which basically consists of one partially open-space building on a small offshore islet. 

      Once you step off the airplane, a very short walk will lead you to the airport’s main building, where our Airport Greeter will be waiting for you at the St. Regis desk. 

      You will be assisted in retrieving your luggage, prior to embarking on the boat that will escort you to the St. Regis Bora Bora Resort. The transfer itself is a 20-minute boat ride. 

      The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is located on a motu (islet) and boat transfers will be necessary from/to Bora Bora Domestic Airport or to reach Bora Bora main island (Vaitape).
