The Soffer Course

Home to LPGA and PGA events, it offers a risk and reward scenario at nearly every hole. Avoid the creeks that crisscross several fairways. Beware of lagoons that creep into many landing areas. Challenge yourself with our newly implemented Tif Eagle greens providing a consistent green speed. When you reach 18, prepare for a par four that tests your fortitude with a picturesque Peninsula Green sitting on a legendary finishing hole. The Soffer Course is a champion masterpiece.

Soffer - Hole 4

The Miller Course

Shorter than the Soffer Course, this shot-maker’s layout requires solid drives and pinpoint irons. Rolling fairways framed by mature ficus, banyan and olive trees put a premium on accuracy at every hole. Try not to be distracted by the pink flamingos nesting on Lake Julius – named for Julius Boros, US Open Champion and our first Director of Golf. The Miller Course is a strategic gem.

Golf carts may only be operated by individuals who are at least 16 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. No exceptions will be permitted.

Proper golf attire is required at all times while on the golf course and when using the driving range.

All juniors under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times on both the golf course and driving range.

Juniors aged 16 and under are eligible for a 50% discount on the prevailing green fees throughout the day.

Individuals aged 17 and older are required to pay the standard adult green fee.

Club rentals are not available for children or junior golfers under any circumstances.

Meet Our Pros

Jeff Stewart

Stewart is entering his 17th season as a full time Golf Sales & Events Manager at JW Turnberry. His day-to-day duties include assisting in at the Pro Shop as well as golf course operations as needed. He also executes all of the hotel golf outings year-round and supports the rest of the golf team on the preparation of all member events. In his free-time, Stewart enjoys spending time with his 8 year old daughter.

Hiro Suzuki

Suzuki oversees operations in the Pro Shop, as well as maintenance of the golf center and practice range. He’s in charge of lessons and clinics for guests, helping to hone every aspect of a player’s game and golf swing. With service as his primary objective, Suzuki strives to accommodate all members and their guests with a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Sean Olson

Sean embarked on his journey in the golf industry in 2007. Sean displayed remarkable competence, overseeing various facets of the golf operation and eventually ascending to the esteemed position of Head Golf Professional. Currently assuming the role of Director of Golf, Sean eagerly anticipates the opportunity to manage the Golf Department and deliver experience to club members & guests.

Augie Natale

Augie is the Outside Operations Manager and Golf Starter, bringing 45 years of experience to the courses. His deep knowledge and long-standing commitment have made him an integral part of the golf operations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all golfers.

Andy Plummer

Plummer was also selected three times by PGA tour players as a Top 5 Instructor on Tour. As an author, PGA TOUR instructor, and founder of Stack & Tilt Golf, Plummer has served as a prestigious guest instructor globally, conducting clinics and seminars for professionals and amateurs alike.

Ray Boone

Ray Boone is a seasoned PGA professional with over 28 years of experience and 42,000 hours of instruction under his belt. Boone teaches golf enthusiasts using Trackman and video analysis to perfect their game on the greens.

    Don Soffer Exercise Trail

    Open 24 hours a day, year-round. The Trail is free and open to the public. The 3.1 mile exercise path circles our JW Marriott Turnberry Miami Golf Course along Country Club Drive. The Trail consists of a 10-foot wide paved ADA accessible path, landscaped with an abundance of shade trees complete with ground lighting, benches, chilled water fountains, trash receptacles and crosswalks.
