Director of Culinary, Chef Gideon

Chef Gideon brings over 40 years of extensive hospitality, food & beverage, and culinary experience. Chef Gideon oversees the resort's complete culinary program.Prior to joining the JW Marriot Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, he has served as an Executive Chef at some top Hotels & Resorts such as the Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa in Maryland as well as Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa. Most recently, he joins us from Live! Casino and Hotel in Washington D.C. where he served as Executive Chef for over 2 years. Over the course of his career, Chef Bill has had the honor of serving many celebrities and politicians, and even owned his own restaurant in Western Massachusetts. Additionally, he has been nominated for several prestigious culinary awards including the James Beard foundation for Top Hotel Chef.

Chef de Cuisine, Chef Garcia

Wilfredo Garcia is Chef de Cuisine at CORSAIR kitchen + bar, the resort’s signature restaurant where guests, locals and Club members gather to create memories and enjoy comfort food. Chef Garcia brings new menu direction to the Modern American restaurant, serving up all-day cuisine and famous for The 52 Sunday Brunch. Before joining JW Marriott Turnberry, Chef Will had various roles such as Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie and Banquet Cook throughout his years in hospitality and brings with him over 10 years of experience in the culinary industry.

Chef Michael Mina

Chef Mina’s culinary vision led to founding his company, MINA Group, with partner Andre Agassi. He opened operations around the world, including the Michelin-starred MICHAEL MINA, a flagship restaurant in San Fran. Honored with numerous accolades, including James Beard Foundation “Who’s Who of Food & Beverage” inductee, Gayot Restaurateur of the Year, and more, Chef Mina continues to dazzle the culinary world.

Executive Chef Gabriel Fenton

Executive Chef Fenton is the brilliant culinary mind leading BOURBON STEAK Miami. A former executive sous chef at Mina's restaurant, he has helped open seven of the chef's ventures. Fenton graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, honing his skills working for industry stars. Passion for fresh ingredients was cultivated by his parents, who always kept a garden of vegetables and herbs at their home in Princeton, N.J.

BOURBON STEAK invites guests to sample signature cuisine in a private venue, surrounded by striking mirrored glass walls overlooking the restaurant. Both options create a stylish, intimate space for up to 14 or 30 guests respectively. The Tasting Room is accented with high ceilings and a long, oak wood table, each space is complemented by a selection of over 850 wines to pair with premium cuts, and group dining menus.
