KC Courtyard
This is our favorite hotel! It is centrally located to our kids, dining, shopping! The staff are very friendly and we love Lynn! She works in the dining room and is so kind. Best place to stay! Thank you!

Clean room but not worth the price
The room was nice with a balcony but for what you pay for the room there’s a lot missing. For one, I’m big on free continental breakfast. If I pay 10% or more of my monthly mortgage to stay the night in a room I think breakfast won’t kill anyone. If I didn’t have a gift card I wouldn’t have stayed here for that alone. The next thing is the lobby smells strange. Like the smells from the kitchen are stuck in the fabrics of everything downstairs. Kinda gross. People were gathered rather loudly and belligerently in the lobby with small kids listening to them yell profanities wasn’t cool either. Going down for breakfast and looking at the menu $12 for a avocado toast. No thanks. So I went to a nearby Panera. That evening we decided to eat at the hotel. The dinner prices were fairly reasonable there’s TVs in some of the booths which was cool. Then we see that there’s double the channels in the lobby than in the room. Maybe that’s why everyone stayed in the lobby? Not sure but I’ll definitely look elsewhere next time I’m in the area.

There is a lot of hotel options in Kansas City. But having a person like Miranda at the front desk makes the decision of choosing a hotel easy. What an asset Marriot has with Miranda!!!
