A Former Convent Turned Hotel
In the heart of the old town, secluded and overlooking the Mediterranean, the former Visitation convent welcomes visitors into an architecture steeped in the memory of the place. Once the porch is crossed, they find themselves at the heart of this centuries-old site, among ancient stones, wisteria shade, and the scent of the courtyard’s orange trees. Guests are received under the linden tree and greeted by the aromas and flavors of a glass of natural sparkling wine, our welcome cocktail made with herbs from our garden, or an herbal tea from our herbalist, accompanied by a freshly baked madeleine, warm and comforting. During school holidays, Hôtel du Couvent welcomes children from 4 to 10. Supervised by qualified animators, they enjoy a varied program: cooking and baking with our chefs and baker, creative workshops to paint like Matisse or try theater, gardening in the historic gardens, and yoga and meditation. Lunches and snacks are freshly prepared. Open to all children aged 4 to 10.

In homage to the sisters who once tended their herb garden, the hotel’s resident herbalist offers guests personalized guidance, handcrafted remedies, and artisanal teas infused with herbs from the garden. Tailored consultations are also available upon request a living tribute to tradition and natural wellness.

In true convent tradition, flour is freshly milled on-site from locally sourced ancient grains.
