The entrance of the Augustinian Convent, a space that has been fully restored and recovered. On the threshold, there is the original shield that decorates the entrance, which, as in all the Augustinian convent, showed the emblem of the order carved in stone. The design shows a heart on fire, pierced by two arrows, a symbol associated with the famous phrase of Saint Augustine: "You created us, Lord, for you, and our heart is restless until it rests in you."

Front Desk

In the first entrance and reception environment, there is an impressive light source specially conceived for this space. This piece of art represents Inti the God of Sun of the Incas. It is a one-of-a-kind collector's item of Austrian manufacture, made by the Swarovski firm in the manner of a sun that covers 3.20 m in diameter and 45 cm deep. 76,500 crystals, which produces the radiant sun, typical of Inca iconography, a star of great value and significance in the local worldview, and a reason for worship and reverence that still persists as a reference.

Understanding the significance of the discovery of Killke remains, these were recovered and protected into the hotel. Not only because they were a manifestation of the origins of the city, but because they helped prove diverse existing theories about the origins of the city. They confirmed that the Incas did not settle in an uninhibited area when they chose Cusco during the twelfth century but they found earlier cultures, which they assimilated and certainly surpassed over time.

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is an architectural jewel, a resting place for royalty, a political, religious and administrative center. Its complexity is based on being able to consolidate in one place everything necessary for the life of the Inca and do it almost on the top of a mountain. Cusco has witnessed the entry of the Spanish and today it preserves that ancient magic.

Plaza de Armas

Our luxury hotel is just steps from Plaza de Armas, a great place to spend the afternoon in the historical center of Cusco.
