Immersive Exploration
Guests are invited to discover the beauty of our pristine private island through exclusive conservation events or embarking on bespoke eco-tours designed to inspire connection and care. Each experience is a step toward preserving the innate wonder of this extraordinary destination.
A Timeless Story
Redefining sustainability through the lens of luxury, The St. Regis Red Sea Resort blends storied appeal with an uncompromising dedication to the environment. Our legacy is one of exquisite hospitality innately entwined with responsibility so that each stay is not only an extraordinary privilege, but a meaningful contribution towards a better world.
Wildlife Advocates
As a passionate custodian of this rare archipelago’s delicate marine ecosphere, The St. Regis Red Sea Resort actively promotes regenerative tourism. From encouraging reef-safe sunscreen and planting mangrove seedlings to protecting turtle and osprey nesting sites, each effort helps the natural wonders of the Red Sea continue to flourish.
Mangrove Regeneration
In collaboration with the National Center for Vegetation Cover, The St. Regis Red Sea Resort is part of the commitment to support the reforestation of the local Mangrove ecosystem. With plans to increase the tree population throughout the Red Sea region, efforts are concentrating on offsetting carbon emissions and enhancing the critical coastal biodiversity.
Osprey Safeguarding
A thriving wildlife sanctuary, the Red Sea is home to the increasingly rare Osprey. Aware of the need to protect and target increased numbers for this magnificent bird of prey, efforts have been focused on encouraging breeding through populating the island with handmade raised nesting platforms, sited close to shallow waters.
Farm to Island
As part of the pledge to reducing our carbon footprint, we are invested in a partnership with Tamala Farm. Actively bringing multiple farmers together in the Tabuk region, produce, like citrus fruits, dates and olives are sourced locally and served up as part of a culinary experience for the discerning palate.
Responsible Beverage Philosophy
The care for our planet runs deep. As part of our vision for sustainable living, we negate the use of single-use plastic by encouraging guests to enjoy refreshing filtered water from one of our elegantly designed glass bottles. Straws, made from sugarcane molasses, are only served on request, while resort beverages are concocted using local ingredients, such as black lime and algae.
