One of the Largest Kids’ Clubs in the Maldives

Inspired by a pirate’s shipwreck on the beach, the architecture of the FAMiLY by JW Little Griffins Kids Club is inspired by a pirate ship with beach huts, while the interior is designed as a ‘sea meets the jungle’ with its different landscapes, that is sure to spark kids’ interest and discovery in every room. To add to this the 13-meter-long pirate ship, a separate children’s swimming pool and child-sized amenities come together to create a mini fantasy world for the little adventurers.

Calling All Junior Adventurers: 100 Activities a Week

Our youngest guests can make the biggest splash at FAMiLY by JW™ Little Griffins Kids Club. We offer over 100 activities to keep the kids entertained. From arts and crafts to pizza making, island exploration, kids beach yoga, and mini beach Olympics, all activities at the FAMiLY by JW Little Griffins Kids Club promote the three pillars of ‘activeness, culinary and creativity’ that will keep kids stimulated, learning and having fun allowing parents to enjoy some down time.

Sandcastle Making

Have your kids head to the beach with our FAMiLY by JW™ Little Griffins Kids Club team, along with a wide variety of sand buckets, digging and sculpting tools, molds, and stencils. Based on the age and interest of the kids, the activity is also turned into a competition. Our team also encourages the kids to implement elements of nature such as tree sticks and sea shells into their designs.

Kite Flying

Often a first time experience, the kids enjoy the feel of the sand between their toes as they run along the shore with the wind in their hair and huge smiles on their faces, while controlling a colorful kite in the blue Maldivian skies above.

Beach Olympics

Several activities with something for everyone. These include Sack Races, Pass the Water, Fill the Bucket, Egg and Spoon Races, and more. The aim is to bring kids together to enjoy activities that involve speed, concentration, teamwork, patience, and most of all - fun!

Island Exploration

Kids identify and learn about local vegetation and wildlife while on an interactive nature walk around the island with the FAMiLY by JW™ - Little Griffins Kids Club team.

Chefs in the Making

The FAMiLY by JW Culinary pillar taps into the little one's innate curiosity by teaching them to make their own creations. Get innovative in designing your own pizza, decorating cupcakes, or blending yummy smoothies. Parents too can enjoy these family-friendly activities and savor crafted creations with their young ones.

Pool Time

From guidance on floating to games such as Marco Polo and Treasure Diving, there is a lot of splish-splashing around for everyone, no matter the kids' swimming level.

Sustainability: Unleash Your Inner Artist

Our arts and crafts sessions aim at reducing waste and providing kids with tangible knowledge and experience on recycling and sustainability. By recycling using materials including plastic bottles, paper cups, and toilet paper rolls, kids create both decorative and functional items they are eager to take home or gift to their parents. The aim is creativity and fun, however, this activity has an added educational goal on how they can have an actual impact on climate change such as global warming.

One Day, One Theme

There are seven different themes per week to ensure the diversity of activities: Superheroes, Pirates and Outer Space are the most popular themes with the kids.

SUPERHEROES:
Superhero masks and capes, obstacle courses, and superhero training make up an exciting day of saving the world.

PIRATE DAY:
Pirate hats, treasure maps, sword fights, chants, and songs, add to the excitement building up to the main event: an island-wide hunt solving clues along the way in search of the precious treasure.

SPORTS DAY:
Beach Olympic and football, Planet Tag and Ping Pong Ball Catch, Little Griffins Challenge and Silent Speed Ball.

Kids Under 12 Eat Free

Offering exceptional value, little guests under 12 get to eat for free, with fully child-friendly curated menus to offer the mini connoisseurs the chance to feast on the most fun and healthy foods. With cuisines hailing from far and wide, there is something for every palate. The creative menus at the resort’s outlets offer a range of dishes from around the world, with “grown-up” foods for discerning little guests including Asian-inspired teppanyaki reef fish, Italian-style pizza, camembert croquette, and grilled fish fillet. For those with a sweet tooth, tasty treats include matcha creme brûlée, a chocolate trio, and mouthwatering lemon meringue pie. In addition to kids’ menus is available in the restaurants, they can also eat at the kids’ club so they don’t miss a moment at their favorite hangout with their new friends for life.
