The Stone Arch Bridge
This impressive bridge crosses the great Mississippi River and was built in the 1880's by the famous railroad tycoon James J. Hill. The bridge is a great place for biking, running and walking (guided tours available), and it provides gorgeous views of the river and the city.
The city’s signature waterfall all found in one great regional park. Poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow gave this waterfall national fame in the Song of Hiawatha. A great park to hike and enjoy the outdoors. One of the reasons Minneapolis is known as “a city within a park."
