    Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay are dedicated to serving our community and protecting the thriving marine environments iconic to Fiji. The resort have partnered with the Ministry of Fisheries to deliver and fund projects that will sustain, manage and protect Fiji’s important marine ecosystems.

    How to Get Involved

    Be a part of our mangrove reforestation work in Fiji, which supports both the marine environment and the community that surround it. Vitally important to coral reefs, mangrove planting protects coastlines, prevents erosion, and provides feeding habitats for marine life.

    Guests can participate in our coral planting activity by transferring coral fragments to a frame, which are then placed in the water by our team of experts. Regeneration of our coral reef is necessary to combat the threat of climate change, pollution and habitat loss.

    Join our interactive Reseeding Program, aimed at restocking the reef whilst educating our guests and associates how important Giant Clams are to the ecosystem.

    Indigenous to Fijian culture, our Turtle Conservation initiative supports a protected nesting ground, turtle tagging and research.
