Meeting Studios

Moxy Williamsburg’s three Meeting Studios can be reserved for private meetings and events, private dining, social gatherings, or a combination. Set behind the hotel’s lobby and Bar Bedford, the Studios feature modular sofas, worktables that fold down to become credenzas, and a variety of side tables — all designed to be easily rearranged for different purposes, from day into night. The walls are decorated with a custom treatment by New York artist Jessie Rubin, a layered and textured work that recalls a paint-splattered artist’s studio and sparks the imagination of meeting attendees, encouraging them to think outside the box. The Studios are separated by operable glass walls so they can be combined to accommodate larger groups, and all three open onto Bar Bedford Garden.

LilliStar

Moxy Williamsburg’s rooftop bar blends contemporary Indo-Aussie beach culture with Brooklyn energy — and features dramatic views of the Williamsburg Bridge and Manhattan skyline from its huge terrace. The indoor and outdoor areas are available as full buyouts independently or as a single venue, offering a dazzling location for a festive party or singular event. The indoor lounge is distinguished by floor-to-ceiling windows, a dramatic ceiling sculpture of giant lotus flowers, a 31-foot bar topped in stunning green marble, and vintage-inspired furnishings that create a tropical, eclectic vibe. Outside, a variety of banquettes, lounge seating, and sofa clusters surround umbrella-shaded tables, positioned for show-stopping views of the Manhattan skyline. The iconic steel trusses of the Williamsburg Bridge seem close enough to touch.

Mesiba

Inspired by the flavorful cuisine and celebratory “breaking bread” culture of the Levant region, Mesiba is a festive space that pays homage to Tel Aviv’s lively energy— the ideal spot to celebrate a special occasion. Chef Eli Buli designed the menu as a modern play on traditional dishes from Israel, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Palestine, and the Eastern Mediterranean. Breads, meats, and seafood emerge fragrant from the taboon, a traditional clay oven, accompanied by creative cocktails with a culinary flair. The warm, verdant dining room centers around a curved marble bar, with plants hanging from the double-height ceiling lending a bohemian vibe, while Hollywood-style booths ensure a spirited atmosphere. The private dining room seats 16 and features glass walls that look into Bar Bedford Garden (walls can be curtained off). Mesiba is also available for a full buyout.

Bar Bedford

Opening onto Bedford Avenue, Moxy Williamsburg’s cocktail bar and all-day café is available for private events and parties. The showstopping, double-height space — with floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary wooden chandeliers, and cascading greenery — merges with Williamsburg’s street life through its all-glass façade. The inviting array of seating options includes Midcentury Modern swivel chairs, playful armchairs, and Scandinavian-style desk chairs surrounding a communal table, all of which can be moved around to create different configurations. Bartenders from the award-winning team behind Broken Shaker serve up cocktails from motorized liquor risers that nod to New York’s old Automats. Signature drinks pay homage to classic New York cocktails with subtle twists and unexpected ingredients, while the menu of small bites celebrates the melting pot of Levantine cuisine.

Bar Bedford Garden

A large, all-season alfresco space in the rear of Moxy Williamsburg, Bar Bedford Garden is an enticing venue for private outdoor events with an accessible backyard vibe. The garden can be reserved independently or in combination with the Meeting Studios or Bar Bedford. Inspired by the backyard gardens tucked behind many Williamsburg apartment buildings, the design creates a lively, residential vibe that makes guests feel as if they have stumbled upon an outdoor oasis in the urban jungle. The combination of casual lounge seating and dining tables permits for a multitude of uses, from stand-up cocktail parties and seated dinners to auditorium-style presentations. Furniture includes communal tables, sling chairs and modular sofas in colorful, geometric fabrics, wrought-metal dining chairs, and decorative planters. The space is fully tented in colorful striped fabric so it can be used year-round.

Jolene Sound Room

Inspired by mid-century recording studios and the retro leisure lifestyle, Jolene Sound Room is an energetic lounge with a custom sound system from the award-winning team behind some of NYC's legendary clubs — the ideal spot for private celebrations, listening parties, and special presentations. Available for a full buyout, the space features intimate seating, interactive lighting, and perfect acoustics, thanks to custom audiophile speakers (the same ones used in high-tech listening rooms) lining the ceiling and walls, a system designed by New York nightlife legend Nicolas Matar, who opened the seminal clubs Cielo and Output, and Scott Ciungan. Walnut, leather, and fabrics ensure warm, resonant acoustics that range from lounge-y to clubby according to the mood of the event. Marquee-style lights line the entire space, syncing to the music to create a multi-sensory experience. The furniture moves to make room for dancing, and the glowing bar serves up specialty cocktails on draft.
