The official language of Warsaw is Polish, and the currency is the Polski Zloty (PLN). The electrical system is standard European 220 - 230 Volt. American electrical devices need a converter and an adaptor; both of which are available from the hotel.
General shopping hours are Monday to Saturday 11 am to 9 pm. Shops are closed in Poland on most Sundays, with some exceptions during the year. During the Christmas holidays, nearly all shops and restaurants are closed on December 25th and 26th.
