While we are a large resort and carry a minimum of 60 guests for wedding celebrations, intimate parties and elopements are available to couples for events within a 90 day timeframe of inquiry. These exceptions are based on availability.

Ario is the perfect place to have your elegant rehearsal dinner. For a more intimate gathering our private dining rooms can accommodate 5-50 guests. Seating is available indoors, or you can choose to sit outdoors and enjoy the sunset with your party.
A Warm Welcome
Our signature welcome party is the perfect way to welcome your guests to Florida. Parties of 50 or more can enjoy a custom barbecue or luau menu while dining with your toes in the sand. Watch our firedancer as you take in a sunset celebration.
Maia
For a casual event, host your rehearsal dinner at Maia. Enjoy Chef crafted dishes that feature local ingredients, from South Florida. Maia can accommodate groups as small as 20 or as large as 200 in the whole restaurant.
Wedding Fine Print and FAQ’s
Food & Beverage Charges
Food and Beverage charges are subject to 25% Service Charge and 6% Florida State Sales Tax. All outdoor events are subject to an additional 3% Service Charge. Neither the client nor its guests will be permitted to bring food and/or beverages of any kind into the resort or onto its premises.
Local Curfews
Function Space By Collier County Ordinance all outdoor functions must end no later than 10:00 PM except May 1 through October 31 of each year, when functions must end by 8:30 PM because of Federal Regulations governing Loggerhead Sea Turtles.
Space Reservations
The Resort reserves the right to change location to a more suitably sized area should the anticipated attendance significantly increase or decrease. No space is held until it is under contract. For outdoor functions, a final decision on location must be made four (4) hours prior to the event starting time.
Weather Contingencies
Should a delay or alternate option of a double set up be requested by client, there will be a service charge of $10.00 per guaranteed guest, with a min charge of $2,000. An alternative, preset indoor space is provided if the following occurs: 50% or higher chance of precipitation, lightning within an eight mile radius, RealFeel Temperature Index below 60° or over 100°, wind gusts in excess of 15mph.
Banquet Guarantees
Only Buffet Menus are available for service outdoors. In order to make your banquet a success, please notify our Event Management Department of the guaranteed number of guests attending each function, at least 72 hours in advance. Guarantees are not subject to reduction within the 72-hour period. If no guarantee is received, the expected number will become your guarantee and charges will be billed accordingly.
Additional Seating
For seated functions up to 300 hundred guests, we will provide seating for an additional five percent over the guaranteed number. For seated functions over 300 hundred guests, we will provide seating for an additional three percent over the guaranteed number.
Additional Wedding FAQs
Definitely, we ask that you block off 10 or more rooms on the wedding night to qualify for a special guest room rate at the JW Marriott Marco Island.
Certainly, our chefs would be happy to personalize a wedding package to meet your specific needs.
There are several options. We are located a quick and easy commute 45 minutes south of Fort Myers International Airport (RSW). Your guests can rent a car, we host an independent Hertz counter in the resort, or Naples Transportation and Tours offers an array of shuttles, cabs, and mini coaches. Taxis are also available at the airport.
Yes, we have the largest mostly private white sand beach in South Florida. Most beach resorts sit on public beaches with public access. Our resort does not. Our outdoor terraces are located in strategic locations around the resort to maximize privacy. All events have "Private Function" signs posted at each entrance.
We are the only resort in Southwest Florida that offers nightlife options on-site. Our Quinn's on the Beach and Korals Sushi & Cocktail Lobby Bar are guaranteed to be open until midnight. A short walk from the resort is the Marco Walk Plaza, which offers of variety of entertainment.
Our research shows that most wedding guests stay with us for four nights. That opens up the possibility of Thursday through Sunday nights. As Saturday is our most requested day, our catering minimums and site fees become more attractive as you consider other days of the week. Besides, every day feels like Saturday when your guests are enjoying your destination wedding!
We will put a sales agreement together locking in the big things such as catering minimums, room rates, venue space, and site fee. Once finalized, we ask for a 25 percent advance deposit of your catering minimum and site fee. Finally, you will be assigned a Marriott Certified Event Coordinator who will assist you in planning the details, and your guests can begin making their reservations.
