Open to children of all ages, the fire pits at the Fountain Courtyard make ideal settings for families to spend time together. Whether in winter or summer, enjoy s’mores and roasting marshmallows over an open fire. Our activities coordinator can arrange fun activities such as Silver Queen Gondola rides, which can be enjoyed year round as well as seasonal pastimes such as the children’s ski school and dog sledding in the winter or bike tours, hiking, and white water rafting in the summer.
We recommend Velvet Buck, which serves a modern mountain cuisine, or Private Dining to be enjoyed in the comfort of your room. Menus that appeal to all ages are available at both of these dining options.
Our Concierge team maintains a list of babysitters who can care for your children in the convenience of your guest room. Please contact us for assistance with reserving nanny and/or babysitting prior to your stay. And during your stay at the resort, the concierge will be pleased to assist.

The St. Regis Aspen Resort continues a tradition started by John Jacob Astor IV when he founded the first St. Regis Hotel in New York, circa 1904. Guests gather for a ceremonial champagne sabering to celebrate the transition from the day into night. Experience this time honored St. Regis tradition with a daily champagne sabering, approximately 4:45pm during the winter season and 5:15pm during the summer season. Please see the front desk or concierge for additional details.
The Downhill Red Snapper
The tradition of Bloody Marys continues to be a cornerstone of St. Regis resorts. Each St. Regis resort showcases its own signature spin on the classic with The St. Regis Aspen Resort serving The Downhill Red Snapper. This unique take on the cocktail includes fresh basil and dill garnished with two olives and a pickle. Tastings are offered each day at 11:15 am in Mountain Social.
S’mores by the Fountain Courtyard Fire
Every Friday & Saturday from 7:00 – 8:00 pm, all ages are welcome to enjoy this treasured family tradition & ritual. This ritual is complimentary & available upon request.

The gentleman who founded the original St. Regis in New York in 1904, John Jacob Astor IV, had a dog named Kitty.
As the second property in the collection, The St. Regis Aspen Resort honors his legacy (and sense of humor!) by having a hotel dog named Kitty.
Kitty arrived to Aspen in September of 2018. He was officially announced at the Resort’s Tree Lighting Ritual – where Santa delivered him as a gift to the Resort and Aspen community.

Champagne Sabering in the Fountain Courtyard
Each day the resort honors the St. Regis ritual of champagne sabering* to celebrate the transition from day to night as John Jacob Astor IV started when he founded the first St. Regis Hotel in New York in 1904. This ritual is extended to resort guests and includes a complimentary glass of champagne. If weather does not permit the ritual to take place in the Fountain Courtyard, it will occur in the Front Drive. Kitty, our hotel Bernese Mountain Dog, just might be there serving kiddy cocktails for the kiddos in lieu of bubbles.

Bark'n'Brews: Monthly Pawty on the Patio
Each month we invite the local Aspen community, visitors and hotel guests to join us in the courtyard from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm (with or without your pup!) to raise money for Lucky Day Animal Rescue of Colorado.
A $10 donation includes two beverages & a chance to win a stay at The St. Regis Aspen Resort for you and your pup! All proceeds go directly to Lucky Day Animal Rescue! No RSVP required.
Pet Fees & Amenities
A true St. Regis check-in experience, we provide a Dog Bed and Dog Bowl. Our pet fee is $100.00 for the first night and then $25.00 daily for any remaining nights (per-room not per-pet). Don't stress about finding a pet sitter. Bring your dog to our pet-friendly hotel and let him or her play on our grounds and sleep in your guest room.
Dog sitting is offered for $50.00 per hour the first 3 hours and $100 per hour past the 3rd hour (subject to availability).
Dog Walking is available for $20.00 per 15 minute walk (subject to availability).
The St. Regis Aspen Resort would like to take the hassle out of traveling by introducing you to our Luggage Free service.
For a nominal fee, we can arrange to have your luggage, skis, bikes or other items you are bringing to and from the resort shipped directly to your destination.
With our partnership with Luggage Free, guests of The St. Regis Aspen Resort will be able to travel with confidence knowing their luggage will be waiting for them upon arrival.
