Innovative Design

Our Inspiration

W Brisbane takes design inspiration from the city’s rich historical heritage and the unique physical environment that surrounds it. An ode to the hotel’s locale on the Brisbane River and appreciation for iconic Australiana, the design narrative comes to life at every turn. Curvilinear shapes mimicking the ebb and flow of the river weave through the hotel as you explore, whilst bold and witty, W’s design personality shares their contemporary lifestyle to the heart of the city centre.

W Brisbane is designed, from the moment of arrival through to the 312 guestrooms and suites and all venues, with custom furnishings and interiors inspired by Aussie vibes while curvilinear patterns emerge to mimic the ebb and flow of the River.

Living Room Bar - Bar Area

The bold use of colour and metallic complement the details that echo the iconic flora and fauna of Brisbane’s sub-tropical environment.

Lucas Grogan Artwork

Pieces from local artists have been put on display or built directly into the hotel's design, such as a wall of irreverent sayings from Melbourne artist Lucas Grogan, and more.
