Design Details

Traditions are honoured with Georgian style paneling and saltire inspired wood flooring throughout. Unique artworks by Scottish photographer Jodie Mann include 'Waiting at Oceans End' and 'Capercaillie' both inspired by Scottish history, folklore, nature, poetry, music and design. The suite's pantry is located beside the vast dining room, perfect for entertaining your guests whatever the occasion.

Our six Marvellous Suites are located in James Craig Walk, our historic Georgian Townhouse on St James Square where history blends with modern luxury. James Craig Walk was originally a terrace of townhouses dating from 1775, that epitomises the character of historic Edinburgh, with its stone façade, high ceilings and tall sash windows. Legend has it that Scots Poet, Rabbie Burns, partied here when he was a resident of St James Square in the late 1780s. Marvellous Suite guests can benefit from their own exclusive private entrance to James Craig Walk. Stay close enough to the buzz of the Ribbon Building yet discreetly tucked away for a home-from-home ambiance.
