Wailea Golf Club
Set at the base of Mt. Haleakala, the Wailea Blue Clubhouse and the Wailea Gold & Emerald Clubhouse offer panoramic views of the rugged Wailea coastline, Molokini, and Kahoolawe. The clubs feature championship fairways, each course with its own practice green at the first tee, a driving range, snack bar, restaurant, and full-service pro shop. The Wailea Old Blue Course stretches over 6,700 acres and has 72 bunkers and four lakes. The 7,070-yard Gold Course offers a classical golf experience and natural hazards unique to Wailea. The Emerald Course shares with the Gold a training facility unlike any other in Hawaii: separate chipping and putting areas, a practice bunker and a driving range with three built-in target greens surrounded by traps. Carts are stocked with towels and tees.
Wailea Tennis Club
The Wailea tennis facilities are located just three blocks from The Wailea Beach Resort. It is regarded as Hawaii’s most complete tennis facility. It opened in 1975 and has ranked among the top 50 tennis resort facilities in the U.S. each year by Tennis Magazine and in the top 20 by World Tennis. A 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all reserved court times. A charge (varies upon contract/agreement) will be assessed if cancellation occurs within48 hours. Round Robin tournaments are offered for groups. The tennis pros will do the scoring, judging, etc., but require a minimum number of courts and time based on the time of year. Prizes may be awarded in the form of equipment, apparel or gift certificates from the Pro Shop.
