Creative cocktails devised by the acclaimed mixologist Christian Rubio, along with beers and wines, are prepared in the greenhouse-like bar, whose glass garage-style doors open to the warm beach breezes. Inside, the lounge has blue-painted beam ceilings and mosaic tiles reminiscent of an antique fountain. Easygoing and versatile, Serena is the perfect place to gather with friends while taking in the rich hues of an unforgettable Miami sunset.

The lobby social hub does double duty as a reception area, with contactless check-in stations located under a neon sign that says “BIENVENIDOS.” Perched on retro-inspired swivel barstools or seated on the lobby’s colorful, streamlined furniture, guests can sip on custom cocktails curated by renowned mixologist Christian Rubio while peeking at swimmers in the second-floor pool through an eight-foot see-through cutout in the ceiling.

Any time of day, you can find the action at Bar Moxy. Quirky touches include a foosball table with vintage Barbies as players, a Zoltar-inspired Horoscope payphone, and an infinity mirror above the bar that conceals the phone number of El Floridita, the landmark Havana watering hole where Hemingway used to drink his daiquiris.

Upside Rooftop Bar

A rooftop bar on the hotel’s eighth floor, The Upside is available to guests of the hotel and private events and is one of the neighborhood's most coveted events destinations. From the expansive, tropically verdant space, guests enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, South Beach, and the downtown Miami skyline. Cool off in the shallow lounging pool with chaises submerged in the water and daybeds shaped like lily pads; perch on the communal swing shaped like a giant life preserver; or gather around daybeds, sofas, and lounge chairs.
