  • What you need to know:
  • Arrival - Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time to enjoy your spa journey and experience all of the therapeutic benefits of our hydrotherapy amenities. For a blending session at our Aroma Design Bar, please plan on an additional 25 minutes. Your spa reservation is held specifically for you and late arrivals may result in abbreviated service. Your service will end as scheduled as not to delay the next guest.

  • Environment - The Phoenician Spa is an adult environment of tranquility and relaxation. We respect the rights of all guests to privacy and quiet. Mobile phones and cameras are not permitted in any treatment rooms or relaxation lounges. In all other areas, please keep phones on silent mode.

  • Minimum Age - Spa guests 18 years and older are welcome in all areas of the spa, including locker rooms, treatment center and rooftop pool. Salon services are available to younger guests when accompanied by an adult.
  • Attire - Most treatments are enjoyed without clothing. Our service providers are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times. Swimwear is required at the rooftop pool. Upon arrival, you will receive a robe, slippers and locker for your personal belongings. Please leave valuables in your guestroom or at home.
  • Health - Please consume plenty of water during your spa visit and throughout your stay in the dry Arizona climate. Please notify our staff when making reservations if you have any special health considerations. Some medical conditions may require consulting with your physician prior to receiving spa treatments. Expectant mothers may enjoy many of the treatments offered after the first trimester; we advise you to avoid treatments using deep pressure or heat. Consuming alcoholic beverages is not recommended before or after a spa treatment. The Phoenician Spa is a smoke-free environment, including the rooftop pool.

  • Service Charge - Service providers and spa staff who assisted you during your visit will receive gratuities through the 20% service charge, which is added to the treatment total.
  • Cancellations - All reserved services must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or guestroom confirmation number. A minimum 4-hour notice must be given to cancel or amend any reserved appointment. If less notice is given, 50% of the full treatment price will be charged. Spa packages, private parties, cabana rentals and personal training sessions require 24-hour cancellation notice. Missed appointments without proper notice are subject to the full treatment price.

  • Day Spa Guests - All spa amenities are available to resort guests for a daily fee, including locker room, hydrotherapy amenities, relaxation areas, and rooftop pool. Day Spa guests may access the spa for a fee, based on availability. Complimentary access is honored when receiving a spa treatment of 50 minutes or more and will include all scheduled fitness classes.

An Oasis of Pools

The multi-tiered Phoenician Pools are exclusive to resort guests and offer a variety of options for lounging, swimming and dining poolside. Three upper pools are more recreational in nature, perfect for some aquatic fun. A center island features reserved family-friendly seating on the north side; and an adult-only pool with reserved seating on the south side. The lower, signature pool is hand-laid in Mother-of-Pearl Pool tile and features cabanas that can be reserved. The adjacent Kids Zone includes a 197 ft. twisting waterslide for guests 42″ and taller, a children's tree house complete with swaying bridge, and a splash pad with spray-guns, falling buckets of water and shooting water spouts. After working up an appetite, visit Kalio Kabobery - offering a fresh menu of Mediterranean-inspired fare.

Guests may choose to use the surrounding lounges along the expansive pool complex or reserve a Lounge Chair, Daybed or Cabana for the day. Featuring the world’s finest collection of arid-land plants from deserts around the world. The Garden has more than 50,000 accessioned plants throughout its five thematic trails, which illustrate topics such as conservation, desert living, plants and people of the Sonoran Desert, and desert wildflowers.

Sedona and Jerome Wine Tasting Tour

Guests leave from the resort for a 1.5 hour drive to beautiful Sedona and embark on an invigorating 2-hour hike at Red Rock State Park. The afternoon is spent enjoying a full picnic lunch (with choice of options) overlooking the majestic scenery. Next, it’s on to the historic mining town of Jerome, built in the early 1800s, and now home to artists, wine makers and ghost sightings. Guests visit 2 tasting rooms and sample wines from Arizona’s Caduceus Cellars and Cellar 433 before returning to Scottsdale. The duration of the trip lasts approximately 9 hours and costs $370 per person.

Desert Off Road Excursion

Be picked up in a 4×4 off road vehicle by your cowboy guide and experience the beauty of the pristine Sonoran Desert. This tour is the perfect blend for groups that are interested not only in an adventure but also appreciates the cultural background and history of the desert.

Humbeer!

Take the desert and a local brewery by storm with this mission called “Humbeer”! The adventure and amazement begins by climbing an old mining trail to 4,000 feet inside a boulder canyon with amazing rock formations and abundant desert landscape. This mission is not complete without a stop at a local brewery to sample some of the best beers Arizona has to offer.

Horseback Riding
