Timeless Tradition

All over the world, each St. Regis Hotel creates a signature Bloody Mary—a fresh cocktail that reflects the hotel’s setting. In Osaka, it is the Shogun Mary. A blend of unique Japanese flavors and seasonings, including yuzu, wasabi and soy sauce with fine vodka.

The Bloody Mary

The St. Regis Signature Cocktail

First created in 1934 at the original St. Regis Hotel in New York, the Bloody Mary is an indelible part of the St. Regis experience.

Today each St. Regis hotel presents its own interpretation of the original recipe. Our signature Bloody Mary is the Shogun Mary

Bloody Mary Vs. Shogun Mary

The original “Bloody Mary” was born at King Cole Bar at The St. Regis New York in 1934 by Fernand Petiot, Bartender. The St. Regis Osaka has created our original “Shogun Mary” with soy sauce, yuzu citrus and wasabi powder, delicately put on the edge of a glass. Enjoy Japanese interpretation of this signature cocktail. Click here to read more about St. Regis Bloody Mary rituals.

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea at the St. Regis is never the same. Caroline Astor, the mother of The St. Regis founder, John Jacob Astor IV, adopted and elevated the social event into a sophisticated signature ritual. Today, each St. Regis hotel and resort blends local flavors and traditions to reflect the unique spirit and destinations, making no Afternoon Tea ritual the same. Here at the St. Regis Osaka, our ritual evolves with the seasons. With each visit, we welcome you to discoveries, with the new theme of the season, with handcrafted sweets, savories, and scones carefully prepared by our chefs, accompanied by tea brewed flawlessly by our connoisseurs to fit your occasion. Surround yourself in the comfort of your friends and luxuriate your tea time into a moment of timeless pleasure.
