Conference Center

Designed by Matteo Thun in the soft hues of the Venice lagoon, the resort’s Conference Centre is the Ideal venue for any business appointment or promotional event. The Ballroom can welcome up to 380 participants and is completed by four breakout rooms in an exclusive and secluded area of the resort.

Breakout Rooms

Five meeting rooms of different dimensions, ideal for smaller meetings, from 15 up to 100 participants, all natural day-lighted with a private terrace.

San Marco Hall

No longer consecrated, this former Church takes its soul from a Neo-Romanesque Revival style of the beginning of the 20th century. The ideal setting for a meeting of high culture, a refined conference or an exclusive dinner.

The JW and the Terrace

The JW hosts two state of the art meeting rooms, ideal for cocktails, showrooms and private functions. In front stretches the greatest watercolor in the world, over the skyline of Venice, could there be a more breathtaking setting for a surprising event?

Team Building Ideas

Amongst the first to arrive at Rialto Market are the students of Sapori and their chef. The most authentic side of Venice is found early in the morning among the fresh and seasonal market produce. This is where you learn to pick out gleaming swordfish, the best sea bass and soft-shelled crab. Back on the island, graze through the kitchen gardens collecting ripe peppers, tomatoes and aubergines bursting with flavour, zesty basil and fruit from the orchards. We arrange classes ideal as team building activities, in order to suit the participants’ interest from a six hour ‘Authentic Venice’ preparing grand classics of Italian cuisine, or a two-hour class on cicchetti, the small plates enjoyed in bacari, the Venetian wine bars.

Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
Ovals and Rounds
Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
