Venezia Ballroom

Designed by Matteo Thun in the soft hues of the Venice lagoon, the resort’s Conference Centre reflects the spirit of the stunning surrounding landscape. Ideal venue for any business appointment or promotional event, the Ballroom can welcome up to 380 participants and is completed by four breakout rooms in an exclusive and secluded area of the Resort.

TEAM BUILDING IDEAS

Amongst the first to arrive at Rialto Market are the students of Sapori and their chef. The most authentic side of Venice is found early in the morning among the fresh and seasonal market produce. This is where you learn to pick out gleaming swordfish, the best sea bass and soft shelled crab.

Back on the island, graze through the kitchen gardens collecting ripe peppers, tomatoes and aubergines bursting with flavour, zesty basil and fruit from the orchards.

We arrange classes ideal as team building activities, in order to suit the participants’ interest from a six hour ‘Authentic Venice’ preparing grand classics of Italian cuisine, or a two hour class on cicchetti, the small plates enjoyed in bacari, the Venetian wine bars.

The Sapori kitchens have six cooking stations ideal for a maximum of 12 people, fitted with every accessory and above all a relaxed, warm and friendly atmosphere like that of the kitchens of old.

Setup Example

Schoolroom or Classroom

The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.

Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.

Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
