General


What time is the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 12pm.
Do you accommodate early check-in/late check-out?
We can only guarantee early check-ins for rooms reserved the prior night at the full rate. We will do our best to accommodate late checkout requests, subject to availability.
What is the Rome city tax?
The Rome City Council introduced a City tax which is in addition to VAT currently 10%. City tax is payable by all guests at check-out and is applicable for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights. Since September 1st 2014, the Rome City tax is €7.00 per person per night.
What is the hotel voltage?
Hotel voltage is 220 V. Please make sure to check the voltage of your equipment before usage.
Do you provide adaptors or converters?
Our concierge will provide guests with adapters but no converters are available. Please contact the concierge desk if you should need any.
Do you have safe deposit boxes?
For your convenience, there is an electronic safe box in all rooms, with a person digit code. Safe deposit box is at your disposal also at front desk.
Do you have a business center?
A business center is at your complete disposal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How much does Internet cost?
The entire hotel is equipped with complimentary WIFI access for all our guests.
Premium WIFI is available at a daily charge of Euro 12 per 24 hours.
Wired Internet is available in rooms and meeting rooms.
Which payment methods does the Hotel accept?
We accept Credit Card. Based on the law 2015, No. 898, approved on 22.12.2015 by Council of Minister, we remind you that we cannot accept payments in cash for amounts greater than or equal to 3.000€ for Italian guests and 15.000€ for foreign guests.
Can I pay for a hotel room for someone else?
Certainly, at least 7 days prior to arrival you can pay for someone else using the CC form that has to be sent via fax only

How much will be charged for an extra person?
Maximum occupancy per room or suite is three guests. The extra person charge >12 is 89.00 euros +10% VAT + 7 Euros city tax per night. The extra person charge applies also if the third person sleeps in existing bed (king or twin) but we can also provide an extra bed on request. Connecting Grand Luxe rooms, Two or Three bedrooms Suites available on request. There is a supplement for reserved single room with double occupancy.
Does your hotel provide cribs?
Cribs are complimentary and are provided upon request for Imperial rooms and Suites only  Hotel provide blankets, bumpers, pillows upon signed waiver.
Do you have hairdryer?
All rooms are equipped with hairdryers.
Do all your rooms have air conditioning?
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
Do you provide guest with boiler, coffee makers or iron boards?
Water Boilers and Iron boards can be borrowed by hotel guests
Are pets allowed and at what costs?
The hotel is delighted to welcome pets to the property. We permit one dog (5kg) per room and provide the following amenities for their comfort: a dog bowl, bed, mat and a Pet Welcome Kit.

Does the hotel provide parking and how much does it cost?
Hotel offers valet service at the garage close to the hotel.
Cost starts 70 € per day depending on the size of the vehicle.
What are the laundry service hours?
Laundry is available to all guest from Monday to Saturday: 8.00am to 9.00pm; Sunday: 08:30am to 09:00pm.
Does your hotel have a fitness center/Spa/pool?
Our hotel is equipped with a WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio with Technogym facilities accessible 24/7 with room key and complimentary to all guests.

Transportation


How do I get to the hotel from the train station?
Termini Central train station is a 10min taxi from the Westin Excelsior . A taxi-drive is around EUR 15, depending on the amount of luggage, that is added as a fix rate to the fare.
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
The hotel can be reached by taxi or public transport in about 50 minutes. Busses and the Leonardo Express direct train from the airport arrive at Termini Central Station, a 10 min taxi drive  from the Hotel.

The hotel does not provide Shuttle bus
Do you offer a private transfer service?
The Westin Excelsior  Rome will gladly arrange a private car transfer from/to the hotel. For more information and pricing options, please contact our concierge

Our Doney restaurant is open for breakfast daily from 07.00am to 10.30 W/E from 07.00am to 11.00
Buffet Breakfast costs 39€ per person.
Kids 0-3 eat free from Kids Menu
Children 3-12 pay 50% of Breakfast
Breakfast from 7.00 to 10.30 and W/E from 7.00 to 11.00
How many dining possibilities does the hotel offer and what are the opening hours?
The Doney restaurant is an all day dining open  till 11 pm
Cafè Doney is our bar open from  07.00am to 11 pm .
Orum Bar is our lobby bar open from  09.00am to 1 am .
