Koli Equestrian Center

Take in the beauty of the desert the way it has been experienced for hundreds of years – on horseback. Traverse expansive scenery with guidance from experienced wranglers from the Koli Equestrian Center. Catering to riders of all skill levels, each ride offered at Koli is designed to allow guests to experience the natural flora and fauna of the Gila River Indian Community lands at a peaceful pace. For a more intimate experience, book a Private Ride, offering a personalized horseback riding experience. Your time at Koli will provide wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

    Land of the Mustangs

    Held daily on property, don’t miss the “Land of the Mustangs” experience, where guests can meet and take a photo with a Wrangler and Horse from the Koli Equestrian Center. Learn about the history of the wild mustangs that roam the surrounding desert and their cultural significance. Get an inside look at ranch life as the wranglers share all about horse care in this unique educational event.

    Jogging & Walking Trails

    Wander with curiosity and immerse yourself in the culture, history, and plant life of the Gila River Indian Community along 3.8 miles of Interpretive Trails. The trails feature a paved 1.3-mile riverwalk path and a 2.5-mile natural path that meanders through indigenous desert flora along the re-creation of the Gila River. At the end, take a moment to embrace the peace and solitude of the desert before returning.

    Maintain your tennis game by joining us on our resort courts located at Aji Spa. Offering two post tensioned concrete deco turf lighted courts. Reservations recommended and tennis racquets and balls are available daily 9am-5pm.

    Overlooking our Spa pool, stay energized while traveling at our 24-hour Fitness Center. Fully equipped, the Fitness Center offers a wide range of Matrix equipment including treadmills, elliptical trainers, stair master, recumbent and stationary bicycles, strength training machines and free weights.

    River Boat Adventure Rentals

    Enjoy fun in the sun with friends and family on our sprawling recreation of the Gila River that flows through the resort grounds. Rent paddle boards, kayaks, and river boats to navigate the river and view the gorgeous surrounding desert scenery. Guests 12 years and older are sure to have a blast paddling, cycling, and pedaling their way along the crystal-clear waters. Younger guests are welcome to participate in river activities with adult supervision. Open Sunday - Thursday from 10AM-4PM and Friday - Saturday from 10AM-5PM. Call 480-646-6370 to book.

    The Adventure Club at Sheraton Grand Wild Horse Pass

    With activities each weekend such as a movie night, seasonal arts & crafts, and cultural activities offering education about local Native American heritage, The Adventure Club offers fun and enriching activities for even the youngest of guests. Available for guests ages 6 – 12, Quail Kids Day Camp (+ +) offers a five- or seven-hour custom camp day experience featuring crafts, games, indoor rock climbing, outdoor adventures, video games, movies, and a warm meal provided by our in-house dining team. With advance notice, evening camps can be arranged for youngsters while parents enjoy a fine dining experience at Kai, our five-diamond restaurant. Whether you choose to dine poolside, at the patio at Hanyo, or inside Ko’Sin, there is always something for young guests to munch on in our dining areas.

    Surrounded by desert landscape and accented by the sounds of cascading waterfalls, our expansive pool area is conveniently located at the center of the resort. Bright blue lounges and umbrellas provide a respite from the sun, while the 111-foot waterslide, designed after the ancient Casa Grande Ruins, and shallow kiddie pool offer fun for the whole family. All swimming pools are heated during winter months.
