In our pursuit of renewable energy, W Singapore – Sentosa Cove is currently in the midst of installing a state-of-the-art solar panel system on the rooftops of our resort consisting of no less than 683 panels. This initiative will significantly reduce our reliance on non-renewable energy sources, cutting carbon emissions while powering our operations with clean, sustainable energy. The project is expected to help our hotel save an approximately 500,000kwh per year.

Solar Power for a Brighter Tomorrow
Water Efficiency & Plastic-Free Commitment
We are taking bold steps to use water responsibly. In partnership with BE WTR, we have eliminated single-use plastic bottles across our restaurants and banqueting spaces with in-house bottling of still and sparkling water.
Beginning in February 2025, we are elevating the in-room experience with advanced water filtration systems in all guest rooms—offering guests fresh, filtered water straight from the tap, while eliminating over 350,000 plastic bottles annually.
This initiative complements our transition to pump-top bath amenities and water-efficient fittings across the property, contributing to a nearly 24% reduction in water consumption in 2024.
Smart and Energy-Saving Technology
Our newly transformed guest rooms are designed for smart energy efficiency. Motion sensors, RCU thermostats, and balcony door sensors work seamlessly to reduce energy use without compromising comfort.
We have also introduced an AHU Optimizer system thatadjusts airflow in real time based on building activity, resulting in a 7.9% energy reduction in 2024.
Across the resort, LED lighting upgrades and floor-to-ceiling windows maximize natural light and minimize consumption, furthering our commitment to sustainable luxury.
