The newest of the city’s popular Boqueria restaurants, this location comprises a 40-seat outdoor patio with a bustling cocktail area and a 20-seat island bar where guests can order from a rotating list of seasonal and traditional Sangrías, a new cocktail on tap, Spanish wines, classic vermouths and aperitivos. Reminiscent of Barcelona’s tapas bars, bartenders share real estate behind the bar with chefs preparing artisanal cheese boards, plates of briny boquerones, hand-sliced Jamón Ibérico and pan con tomate.
With high seating throughout, the energy of the bar flows through the 100-seat dining room nestled between the bar and the open kitchen. The marble counter wrapping around 3 sides of the kitchen provides 24 guests with a perfect view of a 6-spit rotisserie spinning whole suckling pigs and chefs searing market vegetables, freshly caught seafood and house-made chorizo on the plancha and grill. A chef’s booth to the right of the kitchen counter provides a privileged view of the action in a more intimate setting for dinner parties of 6-8 guests. Unique to this space is a private dining room sharing the left edge of the kitchen counter. An accordion glass window can be left open to allow interaction between the diners and chefs for demonstrations, cooking classes and counter seat dining or can be closed off for more private affairs of seated dinners and cocktail receptions.

Guests enjoy perennial Boqueria favorites such as crispy bacon wrapped around sweet Medjool dates stuffed with rich blue cheese, tender paprika dusted octopus served over a bed of Picual olive oil mashed potatoes, and a traditional seafood paella of sepia, squid, shrimp, clams, and mussels heightened with saffron and salsa verde. A menu of market-driven dishes rounds out the menu and highlight the best of seasonal produce. In addition to Boqueria’s trademark lunch, dinner and weekend brunch menus, this location also serves the AC’s signature European-inspired breakfast.
