All the Gear, no idea!
The resort itself, as the pictures suggest, is stunning.
The food is really good and the island itself is great.
The customer-facing staff on the whole are very poor - not the standard you would expect at a 5-star resort and to be frank ruined our whole stay. In this type of hotel, going to dinner is usually the highlight of the day - on this trip we found the opposite as any meal was just a battle with rude and lazy staff. Having to constantly ask for a bill, or another drink or following up on an order that still hadn't arrived. The word 'sorry' doesn't appear to be part of the vocabulary. Unfortunately every time something was wrong we felt like we were an inconvenience to staff. The worst example of this was one night where I had to ask for the bottle of wine I had ordered 45 minutes before as my main course was delivered!
Having to pay for water-based activities on an island resort is bizarre and not something I've ever seen elsewhere.

Underwhelming
The beach was polluted with sewerage, the food is very average and overpriced as are the drinks. Did not see a green salad or a bowl of steamed vegies in 7 days. All mains come with potato fries or wedges and a choice of a couple of other unknowns eg old BBQed cow corn.
Housekeeping hit and miss.
Very average room with an outdoor patio that was not undercover so could not be used every afternoon and evening when it rained.
If you staying here go next door to The Tokoriki Island Resort for dinner, food there is fantastic both in plating and taste

Poor Food options
This is a beautiful resort, very friendly staff, very clean, excellent spa, but after 7 days with the same food options you are ready to leave. There isn’t even a snack bar to pick up a light snack. On our last day there they finally brought out a new bar menu and it wasn’t very good. All the food we had was very good just not enough options.

Relax and enjoy
The Sheraton Tokoriki is a great place to relax, unwind, and watch beautiful South Pacific sunsets. There was no shortage of pool chairs, which was nice as we have experienced elsewhere where you need to wake up early just to get a spot.
The food was delicious, albeit some portions were very small at the Sala Bar. The Watui house was great as was the Reef Grill. Breakfast was well worth the cost with a nice selection and rotation so that you don’t need to eat the same items every day. Kudos to the kitchen staff, especially Valeri for her attention to detail. We thought the food was much better than other resorts we have stayed at and reasonably priced given the location and portion size.
Service needs to be improved starting with the housekeeping and attentiveness of the wait staff at the restaurants and bars. Speed of beverage service at the bar could be improved greatly.
Staff was very friendly! We would return!

Excellent service, but ridiculously overpriced food
Clean rooms, friendly people, lots to do, however food was over priced, and minimal options. Once you’re there they have you trapped as you can’t eat anywhere cheaply! Definitely bring your own food!
