Main Event Space

Our 4,045-square-foot Main Events Space is a striking hall with an industrial-inspired design that can accommodate conferences, banquets, presentations, weddings, parties, and other events of up to 420 guests. Modeled on a factory floor, the room is surrounded by 16-foot panels of steel and frosted glass that are backlit to resemble exterior walls lit by natural sunlight. The room can be divided in two, and the furniture can be configured to accommodate a variety of uses. The Main Events Space’s Arrival Lounge, used as a reception area of for cocktail parties, has corrugated metal and brick-clad walls that evoke the exterior of a factory. Custom lighting fixtures of wood and steel with LED pin lights create interesting shadows and bathe the space in a warm glow. — Square Footage: 4,045 sq ft — Capacities: Banquet: 200 Classroom: 148 Reception: 405 Theater: 420

The Fig Boardroom

Separated from the Main Events Space by a plaster-coated arch, The Fig Boardroom is ideal for smaller events or breakout sessions. The Fig is modeled on a showroom for a fictional furniture manufacturer, with floor-to-ceiling walnut panels and cabinetry that exude a Mad Men sophistication. The room is equipped with two long tables, illuminated by custom I-beam light fixtures, and comfortable chairs to support longer meetings for up to 22 people. The Pico Boardroom

The Pico Boardroom can be used for breakout sessions or standalone events in a sleek, sophisticated space. Connected to the Main Events Space via a plaster-coated arch, The Pico was inspired by a historic factory “paint booth” — typically an enclosed, clean room dedicated to applying paint and finishes to the pieces manufactured in the factory. The room’s polished look — like that of a contemporary art gallery — comes from the floor-to-ceiling, white convex metal panels with integrated LED strips. Custom I-beam light fixtures run the length of The Pico, illuminating tables that can be used for lectures, conferences, and other activities. — Square Footage: 736 sq ft — Seated Capacity: 22 — Standing Capacity: 50

La Lo La Rooftop

An ethereal rooftop terrace on the 34th floor of AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, La Lo La Rooftop is an elevated sanctuary in the sky. A speckled terrazzo-clad bar serves up specialty cocktails while guests share Spanish-style tapas at one of the many intimate heated seating nooks. Overhead, bistro lights twinkle like fireflies, and the large retractable sunshade keeps the atmosphere intimate in any season. Meeting Studios

Located on the mezzanine level of Moxy Downtown LA, above Bar Moxy, our two Meeting Studios are perfect venues for private meetings, brainstorming sessions, and special celebrations. The Meeting Studios are available to guests of both Moxy DTLA and AC Hotel DTLA. Modular furniture is designed to be moved around and converted to different uses, whether business or pleasure. Transparent technicolor glass walls and rich earth tones continue the lobby’s striking color palette (Studios can be curtained off for private functions and combined to form a larger space). In the open mezzanine area, which can be reserved separately or together with one or both Meeting Studios, an LED neon sculpture shaped like an abstracted armadillo adds a playful energy, and a custom mobile DJ booth transforms the area into a dance floor at night. — Square Footage: 250 sq ft each / 500 sq ft combined — Seated Capacity: 8 each / 16 combined — Standing Capacity: 25 each / 50 combined

An energetic oasis for modern explorers, our lobby bar and all-day café is the place to fuel up for your next adventure. During the day, grab a coffee and snack and settle into a plush sofa, retro armchair, or motorcycle-inspired pouf. The inventive menu includes elevated LA-style comfort dishes (elote quesadillas, bacon-wrapped hot dogs) as well as healthful California favorites like avocado toasts and protein bowls. As night falls, snag a spot at the snakeskin-clad bar and sip a hand-crafted cocktail. Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
Ovals and Rounds
